CALDWELL COUNTY, Ky. —Rhonda Bond, 56, Princeton, passed away at 10:14 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Caldwell Medical Center following a long illness.
A native of Caldwell County, she was born June 4, 1954, the daughter of the late George “Frog” and Thelma Joyce Traylor Vinson.
She had worked as the retail manager at Cracker Barrel.
She had served as chairman of the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, James S. Bond; a daughter, Christy Rose, Princeton; a stepson, James T. Bond, Princeton; a brother, Jerry Vinson, Kevil; three sisters, Vicki Threlkeld, Donna Gray, both of Princeton, Julia Braden, Lyon County, and three grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Bond were at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Southside Baptist Church with the Revs. Dean Ray and Ronnie Sivells officiating.
Visitation was from 4 until 8 Friday at the church and Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until time for the service.
Burial will be in Asher Cemetery.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
